So besides keeping a fire extinguisher between the seats, I have this one mounted in the bed. I am a firm believer in safety and when wheeling you never know what will happen. If you see someone else, someone not fortunate enough to be driving this awesome rig, you may be able to put their flames out for them. Never really carried it for use on my truck, but if the need arose, a very valuable asset.

The anngle iron welded the the bed is the mount piece for the bottom of the Hi Lift jack. It has a hole so it can be padlocked in place for when running without the camper shell.
